The sacrifice stage will last 30 days and during this period early participants benefit more, as they are awarded more tokens than late participants.&#x20;

In sum, **the total number of tokens distributed decreases by 1% per day.**

There’s a total number of Hex One Incentive Tokens to distribute every day, and participants receive a share of the pool equal to the percentual amount they sacrificed. Therefore, you may choose to be a bigger fish in a smaller pound (late sacrificers will most likely benefit from having less competition since rewards are reduced); or a smaller fish in a larger pound (early days will most likely have more participants, hence your sacrifice may represent a smaller share of the pie).

The total number of tokens to be created depends on the total amount sacrificed.&#x20;
